STORYLINE:
London's new railway line "Elizabeth line" opened to the public on Tuesday.
It stretches more than 100 km from Reading and Heathrow in the west through central tunnels across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east.
The new railway will stop at 41 accessible stations - 10 of them new - and is expected to serve up to 200 million people each year.
The Elizabeth Line is expected to dramatically improve transport links in London, and journey times are being cut. Capacity increased with spacious new stations and walk-through trains.
