Algerian children learned Chinese, sang nursery rhymes, knew the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival, and made Zongzi (sticky rice dumpling). They also got special gifts -- the lovely Bing Dwen Dwen, the mascot of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. According to CSCEC Algeria, this activity aims to further promote cultural exchanges between China and Algeria and build a new bridge for the traditional friendship between the two countries.
