STORYLINE:
About 100 people from South Africa's Cape Town on Wednesday joined a beach cleanup activity to celebrate World Oceans Day.
The activity was jointly organized by a cafe, Sirocco, the environmental organizations of the Save Our Seas Foundation, the foundation's Shark Education Center and The Beach Co-op. It was supported by local schools, which brought 55 students to join the efforts, and other local shops that gave chocolates and pastries.
