The researchers from Northwest University in northwest China's Shaanxi Province successfully restored the facial appearances of people in ancient China by using the technology of computer-assisted craniofacial reconstruction.
With the help of the technology, researchers reconstructed the facial appearances of Li Chui, a fifth-generation offspring of Li Yuan, the founding emperor of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and some ancients of the Qin Dynasty (221 B.C.-207 B.C.).
