Salvage of sunken tour boat off Hokkaido

A sunken tour boat (R) raised from a depth of about 180 meters is loaded onto a barge off the Hokkaido town of Shari, northern Japan, in the early hours of May 27, 2022, after an initial attempt to salvage the vessel resulted in it sinking to a greater depth. The boat went missing on April 23 with 26 people aboard and was found six days later on the seabed at a depth of around 120 meters.
