On the main line, the length of the ballasted track section is 112.8 kilometers and that of the ballastless track section is 166.6 kilometers, all of which use 50-meter rails produced in China. After being transported by land and sea from China to the railway's track-laying base in Bandung, the rails would be turned into 500-meter rails by the use of the advanced pulse flash welding technology, and then transported to the construction site.
