A China-aided photovoltaic power station has been put into operation in Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic (CAR), helping ease the country's electricity shortage.
The solar farm with an installed capacity of 15 megawatts was built by Tianjin Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. (TEPC) under China Energy Engineering Group.
