The festival kicked off its activities with the Jordanian adaptation of the play "Salome" created by poet and playwright Oscar Wilde. The festival stages nine theatrical plays performed by actors from Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Iraq and Morocco, providing the opportunity for actors to present theatrical performances in an unconventional atmosphere outside traditional theaters.
