The Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (HSR), the first HSR in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, has handled over 1.4 million passenger trips up to Jan. 14 this year, according to the PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia (KCIC). The Chinese-built HSR, locally called Whoosh, began its commercial operation in October 2023.
