(220831) -- URUMQI, Aug. 31, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Aerial photo taken on Aug. 6, 2022 shows a section of the Yetimbulak-Ruoqiang expressway in Ruoqiang County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. A new expressway passage that links northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region opened to traffic on Tuesday. It is expected to further facilitate the travel of the inland region's residents and boost the high-quality development of local economy. Stretching about 300 kilometers, the expressway, linking Yetimbulak Township and Ruoqiang County, is an important part of the country's expressway network.
