According to the latest figures released by Spain's Ministry of Health on Tuesday, there were 224 people in ICUs in Spanish hospitals compared to 241 the week before.
It means that the number of COVID-19 patients in ICUs in Spain has fallen to the lowest level since the pandemic began.
As for the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19, the health ministry reported that there were 2,889 coronavirus patients in Spanish hospitals compared to 3,023 on last Friday.
