These people were allegedly involved in cases including robbery, gambling and drug trafficking, and were arrested in Kabul, Herat, Balkh, Kunduz and Takhar provinces, the ministry said in a statement. Eleven of the arrested were involved in drug trafficking, the statement said. The Taliban-run caretaker administration has vowed to crack down on outlaws as part of efforts to ensure law and order in the war-torn Asian country.
