STORYLINE:
The Limassol wine festival came back on Saturday after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, bringing thousands of people from all over Cyprus as well as foreign tourists to the city's seaside Municipal Garden even on the opening night.
The city's mayor Nicos Nicolaides told Xinhua that the Limassol wine festival is coming back "dynamically, upgraded with many innovations," expecting that it will attract more than 100,000 visitors this year and would promote Cyprus' wine villages, production of wine and culture.
