The number of foreign visitors to Türkiye in the first eight months of the year climbed by 108.5 percent to 29.3 million compared to the same time last year. With a share of 13.6 percent, Germany was atop countries sending tourists to Türkiye last month, followed by Russia, 12.8 percent, and Britain, 8.7 percent. Britain was followed by Bulgaria and Iran. In the first eight months, Germany also held the top spot by sending 3.85 million tourists to Türkiye, or 13.13 percent of the total.
