Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek El-Molla on Wednesday held a meeting with Bulgarian Energy Minister Rossen Hristov to discuss future cooperation between the two countries in the fields of gas and energy.
El-Molla said there are good opportunities to channel Egyptian gas supplies to southeastern Europe through Bulgaria, which has a complete gas infrastructure, especially after the inauguration of a natural gas pipeline between Bulgaria and Greece.
The Bulgarian minister expressed his country's demand for gas from Egypt, which he said is important in meeting part of Bulgaria's needs for liquefied natural gas.
