Camping in parks is all the rage during the National Day holiday in Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
China's camping market has been growing rapidly as more people turn to short-distance leisure camping during the pandemic.
According to Guangzhou-based research firm iiMedia Research, China's camping market increased from 7.71 billion yuan (1.08 billion U.S. dollars) in 2014 to 29.9 billion yuan (4.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2021. It's expected to grow by 18.6 percent to 35.46 billion yuan (4.98 billion U.S. dollars) this year.
