China's camping market has been growing rapidly as more people turn to short-distance leisure camping during the pandemic. According to Guangzhou-based research firm iiMedia Research, China's camping market increased from 7.71 billion yuan (1.08 billion U.S. dollars) in 2014 to 29.9 billion yuan (4.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2021.
