"Within the scope of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, the grain transported from Ukrainian ports to global markets exceeded 6 million tonnes as of Oct. 4, according to the Turkish Defence Ministry.
In a statement on Twitter on Tuesday, the ministry announced that so far 260 vessels have left Ukrainian ports, carrying foodstuffs, such as corn, wheat, sunflower, sugar beet, soybean, and peas, to the rest of the world.
