Over 120 boats take part in the race this year, which will take them from Valletta to Sicily, around the Italian island, and back to Malta. The course totals 606 nautical miles. Vessels from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States, as well as from most of Europe are all taking part in the race. Over 110 boats took part in the 2021 Rolex Middle Sea Race.
