The overnight raid in the Kasbah, or old city, of Nablus, the second largest city in West Bank, was carried out on a hideout of the newly formed armed group calling themselves "the Lions' Den," the Israeli security forces said in a statement. A large group of Israeli army forces backed by armored vehicles and supported by reconnaissance drones stormed a building in Nablus at predawn, according to eyewitnesses and residents in the city. Video footage on social media platforms showed fire and smoke rising from the building and nearby streets.
