The campaign, which will run from December 11 to 14, aims to vaccinate children from the age of zero to five free of charge, for both Egyptians and non-Egyptians. According to government officials, the campaign will be implemented in all governorates of the country, where around 16 million children will get the vaccination. The last case of polio was recorded in Egypt in 2004, and the World Health Organization declared Egypt free of polio in 2006. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Cairo. (XHTV)
