Japanese, S. Korean ministers tour ceramics town

Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi (front R), South Korean Prime Minister Kim Jong Pil (C) and other ministers from both countries attend an event Nov. 29 commemorating the 400th anniversary of the introduction of Satsuma ceramic ware in Kagoshima Prefecture, southwestern Japan. The ware originated in Korea. They attended as part of a two-day forum held between Japanese and South Korean ministers to exchange views on a broad range of issues in Kagoshima.
