Annual torch relay for peace starts in Hiroshima

The 18th annual torch relay for the abolition of nuclear weapons starts from the Peace Memorial Park in downtown Hiroshima on June 22. The relay, organized by local labor unions, will run through all 86 cities, towns and villages in Hiroshima Prefecture before returning to the park July 28.
