Japanese premier talks with 5 Nordic leaders
Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi (2nd from L) meets the press at a Reykjavik hotel on June 22 after his talks here earlier in the day with the prime ministers of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The Nordic leaders supported permanent U.N. Security Council seats for Japan and Germany. Obuchi arrived in Reykjavik on the last stop of his post-Cologne summit tour.
