Boy from Kosovo to receive medical treatment in Japan
NARITA, Japan - A 3-year-old Albanian boy from Kosovo arrives in Tokyo with his parents July 7 for treatment to a malignant tumor on the retina of his right eye. Nezir Shinik left later in the day for Kanazawa University hospital where he will undergo the operation. Surgery on his eye began in Belgrade, but was suspended due to the recent bombing of Yugoslavia.
