Japanese challengers in America's Cup race unveiled

NAGOYA, Japan - Two Japanese contenders for this fall's America's Cup race in New Zealand are photographed in waters off Gamagori, Aichi Prefecture, central Japan, on July 27. The Ashura (bottom) and the Idaten (above the Ashura) will compete in the international yacht race, scheduled to begin Oct. 18. It will be Japan's third time to compete in the America's Cup race, and will cost about 1 billion yen.
