TOKYO, Japan - Hidejiro Osawa, president of Nippon Mitsubishi Oil Corp., speaks at a news conference July 28 on his company's plan to make Koa Oil Co. a subsidiary by purchasing up to a 50 percent equity stake from Caltex Corp.
