French chef Lecomte dies in Tokyo at 68
TOKYO, Japan - Andre Lecomte, a French chef in Tokyo who counted visiting world leaders among his customers, died of a heart attack in Tokyo on Aug. 6, his family says on Aug. 8. He was 68. A native of the Loire Department in central France, Lecomte comes to Japan in 1963 to work as a chef at the Hotel Okura in Tokyo.
