Japanese-style police booth debuts in Nairobi

NAIROBI, Kenya - Kenyan police sets up a Japanese-style police box in a busy tourist area in downtown Nairobi, hoping a more prominent police presence would hel reduce crime in the area. Business groups in Nairobi say they plan to build more police boxes for the city if the one in the photo, which opened Sept. 25, proves effective in deterring crime.
