Ethiopian Abera wins Fukuoka Int'l Marathon

FUKUOKA, Japan - Ethiopian Gezenge Abera wins the Fukuoka International Marathon on Dec. 5, outpacing Mohamed Ouaadi of France down the home stretch. Abera's time was 2 hours, 7 minutes, 54 seconds, an improvement on his own previous best time by more than 6 minutes.
