Mammoth's skin shown in Tokyo
TOKYO, Japan - Prof. Petr Lazarev (L) of a mammoth museum in Sakha in Russia's East Siberia, shows a piece of skin from a mammoth that was found in August in iced soil in Siberia, at a press conference at a Tokyo hotel on Dec. 20. Lazarev has been working with Kazufumi Kobayashi (R), head of the Creation of Mammoth Association (COM) of Japan. The association is in charge of looking into the revival of mammoths by cloning or artificial insemination.
