Kim hopes G-8 summit discuss support for inter-Korean talks
SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean President Kim Dae Jung (R) talks with Taku Yamasaki, former policy chief of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party, on May 1 at the Blue House presidential office in Seoul. Kim said he hopes July's Group of Eight summit in Okinawa Prefecture will discuss results of the inter-Korean summit in June. The first-ever inter-Korean summit is scheduled for June 12-14 in Pyongyang, where Kim Dae Jung will meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.
