DPJ files criminal complaint against Aoki
TOKYO, Japan - Naoto Kan (C), policy chief of the opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), and Satsuki Eda (R), a DPJ member of the House of Councillors, speak at a news conference May 19 after filing a criminal complaint against Chief Cabinet Secretary Mikio Aoki, alleging he illegally assumed the post of acting premier after then Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi suffered a stroke.
