S. Korea further relaxes ban on cultural imports from Japan

SEOUL, South Korea - Culture and Tourism Minister Park Jie Won says in Seoul on June 27 that his country is further relaxing its ban on cultural imports from Japan, allowing public performances of Japanese pop music without any restrictions. Under its second opening to Japanese culture in September last year, South Korea allowed such performances only at indoor venues with a seating capacity of less than 2,000.
