Strong quake hits Kozushima, causing more than 10 landslides

KOZUSHIMA, Japan - The photo, taken by a Kyodo News helicopter, shows a landslide caused by a strong quake that buried a road on the island of Kozushima in the Izu island chain on July 1. The quake, measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale, left at least one man dead in a car buried by a landslide. More than 10 landslides have been occurred on the island.
