FSA to launch institute for financial affairs
TOKYO, Japan - Masaharu Hino, commissioner for the newly established Financial Services Agency (FSA), meets the press in Tokyo on July 3. He said his agency plans to set up an institute to train its staff in financial affairs to enable them to handle the diversification of financial products. The FSA became operational July 1 through the merger of the Financial Supervisory Agency and the Finance Ministry's Financial System Planning Bureau.
