G-8 leaders hold final-day session of Okinawa summit
NAGO, Japan - Leaders from the Group of Eight (G-8) major nations hold their final-day session of their three-day policy-making summit at the Bankoku Shinryokan, a newly constructed convention center in Nago, Okinawa, on the morning of July 23. They are British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Bill Clinton, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori, French President Jacques Chirac, Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, European Commission President Romano Prodi and Italian Prime Minister Giuliano Amato.
