Asian-Americans, Pacific islanders hold town hall meeting
LOS ANGELES, United States - Representatives attend a town hall meeting July 24 to raise the U.S. government's awareness of issues facing Asian-Americans and Pacific islanders. The one-day gathering was the first such meeting held by members of an advisory panel appointed by President Bill Clinton last year to examine issues related to Asian-Americans and Pacific islanders.
