Robot wheelchair by Johnson & Johnson on display in Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan - An advanced electronic wheelchair capable of going up and down stairs that was developed by U.S. health products maker Johnson & Johnson is put on display at an exhibition of products for the handicapped that began on Sept. 12 in Tokyo. Dean Kamen, who invented the wheelchair, is taking a seat in the computer-controlled chair, dubbed the Independence 3000 iBOT Transporter.
