Aborigine running heroine Freeman lights the Olympic flame
SYDNEY, Australia - World champion sprinter Cathy Freeman, Australia's gold medal bet in the women's 400 meters and the first Aborigine to represent Australia in the Olympics, lights the Olympic flame on a cauldron submerged in water at the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics on Sept. 15.
