Japanese woman from N. Korea prays at family grave
TAKANABE, Japan - Takiko Ide, on a visit to Japan from North Korea, prays in front of a family grave in the town of Takanabe, Miyazaki Prefecture, on Sept. 16. She is one of 16 Japanese wives of North Korean men who arrived in Japan on Sept. 12 for a weeklong trip. The visitors are among thousands of Japanese women who moved to North Korea from 1959-1984.
