New Year's postcards go on sale
TOKYO, Japan - People buy 2001 New Year's postcards at Tokyo's central post office in the Marunouchi district Nov. 1 after they went on sale the same day nationwide. Japanese traditionally send each other New Year's greetings on postcards, which are called ''nengojo.''
