Japan, U.S. hold 1st joint disaster-relief drill in Tokyo

TOKYO, Japan - An unidentified American man is rescued by Maritime Self-Defense Force men in the first Japan-U.S. joint disaster-relief drill conduced at the U.S. Yokota Air Base in western Tokyo on Nov. 9. The drill played out a scenario in which a large number of people are injured from an explosion and subsequent fire at a U.S. military base in Japan.
