Suzuki answers to questions on negotiations with Mariners

KOBE, Japan - Seven-time Pacific League batting champion Ichiro Suzuki (C) answers reporters' questions Nov. 10, after the Seattle Mariners submitted the highest bid to get exclusive negotiating rights. ''This is one of the clubs that I had hoped to join, so I am happy,'' Suzuki said at the Orix BlueWave indoor practice facility in Kobe, after hearing that the Mariners had offered over $13 million for the right to talk to the all-star outfielder.
