France's Carrefour opens first store in Japan

MAKUHARI, Japan - Shoppers queue before the opening of the first store in Japan of French supermarket chain operator Carrefour in the Makuhari district in Chiba on Dec. 8. The Paris-based Carrefour group plans to open a total of 13 stores in Japan.
