Veteran Japan striker Miura formally signs for Vissel Kobe

KOBE, Japan - Veteran Japan international Kazuyoshi Miura gets congratulations from fans after signing a two-year contract with J-League club Vissel Kobe on Dec. 27. While financial details of the new pact were not revealed, soccer sources said that Miura, who netted 17 goals for Kyoto to finish third top scorer in J-1 this season, will earn an estimated annual salary of 60 million yen.
