Former tennis ace Date to marry German racing driver

TOKYO, Japan - Former Japanese women's tennis ace Kimiko Date (L) is to marry German racing driver Michael Krumm (R). Date, at one time Japan's most recognized female tennis player, made the announcement on her Internet home page Jan. 12, saying she and Krumm had ''become close at the end of last year'' and had ''started making plans for their wedding.''
