Universal Studios Japan to open March 31
OSAKA, Japan - Universal Studios Japan (USJ) (aerial photo), a film theme park being constructed on Osaka's waterfront, will open March 31, Akira Sakata, president of the park's operator USJ Co., says on Jan. 29 in Osaka. Located in the Konohana Ward waterfront area, the 54-hectare park is expected to have 18 attractions showcasing Hollywood blockbusters such as ''Jaws'' and ''E.T.''
