Vajpayee seeks Japan's help in quake-proof architecture
NEW DELHI, India - Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee said Feb. 3 that India hopes to learn about quake-resistant architecture from Japan in the wake of a killer earthquake that rocked the western state of Gujarat. Vajpayee made the remarks in a meeting with reporters from Kyodo News and other Japanese news organizations.
