Japanese makers press gov't for towel import curb

TOKYO, Japan - Yoshihide Yoshihara (R), head of the Japan Towel Industrial Association, on Feb. 26 in Tokyo presents to Iwao Okamoto, director general of the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry's Manufacturing Industries Bureau, a petition asking the government to impose an emergency import curb on towels from China and Vietnam.
